  • Family of card holders are usually co-insured by the sponsorStated by the authority as the usual position, which is why the insurance requirement is often satisfied by the sponsor rather than the applicant.
    Family members of “Red-White-Red Card” holders, “EU Blue Card” holders or family members of Austrian citizens are usually covered by their sponsors’ health insurance (co-insurance).
  • Accommodation adequate for the family size by local standardsThe test is relative to family size, so what suffices for one applicant may not for another.
    The third-country national must provide evidence of a legal title to an accommodation (e.g. by providing a lease contract), considered adequate for his/her family size according to local standards.
